General Introduction Sichuan Xichang Electric Power Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xichang Electric Power" or "Company") was formerly a local power grid under the Xichang Electric Power Bureau of Sichuan Provincial Electric Power Bureau. In 1980, with the approval of the Ministry of Electric Power Industry of the People's Republic of China, it was transferred back to the local establishment of "Liangshan Xichang Electric Power Company". The company is a backbone power enterprise in Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province, mainly engaged in spontaneous and self supply, with county and township power plants connected to the national power grid for operation. In March 1994, with the approval of the Sichuan Provincial Commission for Restructuring and Reform (Chuan Ti Gai (1994) No. 183), Xichang Electric Power Company of Liangshan Prefecture conducted a pilot reform of the joint-stock system and registered Sichuan Xichang Electric Power Co., Ltd. on June 18, 1994. The company is located in Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province, one of the bases for power transmission from west to east in China. With abundant hydropower resources, the company has become a backbone power enterprise that integrates power generation, power supply, electricity consumption, construction, and management. The company has 5 wholly-owned hydroelectric power plants, 3 holding hydroelectric power plants, and 1 holding photovoltaic power plant. The total installed capacity of hydroelectric power rights is 124800 kilowatts, with a storage capacity of 14.58 million cubic meters of Wadu Reservoir, and the installed capacity of photovoltaic power rights is 20.40 megawatts; 15 directly affiliated substations with a total transformer capacity of 1.0515 million kVA; The total length of the transmission and distribution line is approximately 2404.12 kilometers. At present, the company's power grid is mainly composed of a 110 kV network, with 35 kV and 10 kV as supply and distribution networks, forming a local power grid connecting six counties and one city, including Zhaojue, Butuo, Jinyang, Puge, Muli, Yanyuan, and Xichang. According to the plan, the company will continue to strengthen the construction of the power grid, build a transmission network with a reasonable distribution of distribution networks, and meet the needs of the state's economic development. For many years, the company has always taken promoting the economic development of the entire state as its responsibility, continuously accelerating the development and construction of its own power supply points, promoting the transformation of urban distribution networks and rural power grids, planning and constructing a series of backbone power transmission and transformation projects, striving to provide safer, reliable, and stable power services, and providing excellent business performance to shareholders to achieve harmonious development of the company.
