| General Introduction | Shenzhen Energy Group Co., Ltd. (stock code: 000027) was established in June 1991 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in September 1993. It is the first large-scale joint-stock enterprise in the national power industry to be listed in Shenzhen, and also the first public utility joint-stock company to be listed in Shenzhen. In December 2007, it was listed as a whole, setting a precedent for domestic power companies to go public as a whole. As of the end of 2020, the total assets of Shenzhen Energy Group were 114.062 billion yuan, with a net asset attributable to the parent company of 37.963 billion yuan and a total share capital of 4757389916 shares. Among them, the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government directly held 43.91% of the shares, Huaneng International Power Co., Ltd. held 25.02% of the shares, and other shareholders held 31.07% of the shares. Since its establishment, Shenzhen Energy has closely grasped the pulse of the times, scientifically selected strategic directions, adhered to the business philosophy of "safety first, cost leading, efficiency oriented, and environmental friendliness", strengthened the work style of "simplicity based, and practical responsibility", and made every effort to create "responsible energy, strength energy, environmental protection energy, and harmonious energy", maintaining effective growth and creating industry leadership in the long term. From 1991 to 1998, the group established itself in Shenzhen, focusing on electricity, and built the first large-scale thermal power plant in Shenzhen, Mawan Power Plant, effectively solving the power shortage problem of "three starts, three stops, and four stops" in Shenzhen. From 1999 to 2007, the group went to Guangdong and entered environmental protection. It took over the country's first BOT power plant, Shajiao B Power Plant, built the first ultra supercritical coal-fired power plant in South China, Heyuan Power Plant, and built the country's first EU standard waste incineration power plant, Nanshan Environmental Protection Power Plant. From 2008 to 2015, the group deployed nationwide and went overseas, vigorously developing renewable energy such as wind power, photovoltaic power generation, and garbage power generation, and investing in the construction of China's first power plant, Ghana Gas Turbine Power Plant, in Africa. In the environmental protection sector, waste incineration power plants have been built and put into operation in provinces such as Guangdong, Guangxi, Hubei, Fujian, Hebei, and Shandong, with a daily waste treatment capacity of 26800 tons (including trial production). The daily waste treatment capacity of the Shenzhen project is 16300 tons, helping Shenzhen to take the lead in achieving zero landfill of domestic waste among super large cities in China. Having the capability of solid waste treatment research and development, design, equipment manufacturing, investment, construction, and operation throughout the entire industrial chain, environmental protection business has expanded to industrial wastewater, sludge treatment, and other fields. The editor in chief has participated in the compilation of 60% of the national standards for urban solid waste treatment, and the project unit scale is globally leading, with emission indicators leading the European Union, creating the industry's best "Shenzhen standard" and building a "waste free city" for Shenzhen, The achievement of green and sustainable development has contributed to "deep wisdom" and "deep power". The gas sector operates in cities such as Huizhou, Chaozhou, and Zhaoxian in Hebei, with an annual gas supply of 1.066 billion cubic meters. It has nearly 540000 residential users, 4597 industrial and commercial households, and a gas pipeline network of 4314 kilometers. Participated in two 4 million ton LNG liquefied natural gas receiving stations in Shenzhen, successfully carried out independent international procurement of LNG, and achieved coordinated development of the upstream and downstream of the natural gas industry.In the overseas sector, actively responding to the national "the Belt and Road" initiative, Ghana invested in the construction and operation of a gas power plant in Africa. It was the first Chinese enterprise to operate a power plant in Africa. Ghana's Phase II unit was successfully completed in November 2017.
