| General Introduction | Rizhao Port Co., Ltd. is approved by the People's Government of Shandong Province, and is mainly sponsored by Rizhao Port Group Co., Ltd. (formerly Rizhao Port Authority), in cooperation with Yankuang Group Co., Ltd., China middling coal Energy Group Co., Ltd. (formerly China Coal Industry Import and Export Corporation), Zibo Mining Group Co., Ltd., Shanxi Lu'an Mining (Group) Co., Ltd Shanxi Jincheng Anthracite Mining Group Co., Ltd. and five other legal entities jointly initiated the establishment in July 2002 and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on October 17, 2006. It is the first pilot IPO enterprise in China after the implementation of the "Measures for the Administration of Securities Issuance and Underwriting", and the first listed company in the domestic market in Shandong Province since the split share reform. It is also the first port listed enterprise in Shandong Province. In June 2019, the subsidiary Rizhao Hong Kong Jurong Co., Ltd., which was spun off and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, achieved a dual wheel drive of capital operation of A-shares and H-shares. Rizhao Port is a key coastal port for national development. Construction began in 1982 and the port was opened in 1986. The overall planning of the port includes two major port areas, Shijiu and Lanshan, with 274 berths and a capacity of 750 million tons. Currently, 73 production berths have been built with an annual throughput capacity of over 450 million tons. Among them, Shijiu Port Area mainly transports metal ores, coal, grains, and containers, while Lanshan Port Area mainly transports crude oil, metal ores, steel, wood, and serves the port industry. |
