| General Introduction | The predecessor of Northern Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the company) was Sichuan Northern Nitrocellulose Co., Ltd., established in 2002. It is a military civilian integrated enterprise established by China Ordnance Industry Group Co., Ltd. through the professional restructuring of its nitrocellulose assets. In 2008, the company was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange with stock code 002246 and stock name Beihua Co., Ltd. The company acquired Xiangyang 525 Pump Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Pump Industry Company) and Shanxi Xinhua Chemical Prevention Equipment Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Xinhua Company) in 2013 and 2017, respectively. In June 2020, the company name was changed to Northern Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. The company is headquartered in Luzhou, Sichuan, with 11 management departments, 1 branch, 3 holding subsidiaries, 1 national enterprise technology center (chemical prevention equipment), 1 group company level technology center (cellulose), and 1 provincial-level enterprise technology center (special industrial pump). The company currently has three major business segments: nitrocellulose, special industrial pumps, activated carbon, and protective equipment. Since 2004, the production and sales of nitrocellulose have consistently ranked first in the world, with products sold to more than 50 countries and regions such as Asia, Europe, and North America. The company is an "excellent supplier" of Fortune 500 companies such as Akzo Nobel in the Netherlands and Bayer in Germany. The "SNC" brand nitrocellulose has been awarded the title of "Sichuan Famous Brand Product" multiple times. Pump Industry Company is a national high-tech enterprise, awarded as a "National Internet and Industrial Integration Innovation Pilot Enterprise" by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It is the only member of the China Enfei Mining Alliance for slurry pump equipment, capable of producing nearly 30 series of 650 specifications of special industrial pump products such as desulfurization pumps and phosphorus compound fertilizer pumps. The products are widely used in industries such as chemical, metallurgy, and mining. Its foreign trade business has spread to 34 countries and regions around the world, including the United States, Australia, and France, The "525" trademark has been awarded the title of "China Famous Trademark". Xinhua Company is a national backbone enterprise and high-tech enterprise in the field of chemical prevention. It is a first-class measurement station for national defense technology and industrial chemical prevention, as well as a national standard drafting unit for national defense equipment, coal based activated carbon products, and inspection standards.
