The company is located in Hejiangtao, Shigu District, Hengyang City, Hunan Province, with convenient transportation and obvious geographical advantages. The company was founded in 1950 and was originally named Hengyang Dali Industrial and Mining Pharmaceutical Factory. In 1966, it was renamed Xiangyang Machinery Factory. In 1991, the third line was relocated, and the original Hongyuan Machinery Factory (Xupu County, Huaihua) and Hongling Machinery Factory (Chenxi County, Huaihua) were relocated to Hengyang. They merged with Xiangyang Machinery Factory to form Hunan Jiangyan Machinery Factory. In 2003, the company underwent restructuring and established Hunan Tianyan Machinery Co., Ltd. In 2012, the company borrowed a shell and completed industrial and commercial changes in 2014, forming Hunan Tianyan Machinery Co., Ltd. It resumed trading in May of the same year, with the stock name Hunan Tianyan and A-share code 600698. The company's products cover the engine power range of 30KW-2000KW, with a displacement of 0.8L-30L.
