| General Introduction | Datang Huayin Electric Power Co., Ltd., formerly known as Hunan Huayin Electric Power Co., Ltd., was officially established on March 22, 1993 with the approval of the Hunan Provincial Commission for Economic Reform and was jointly initiated by six legal entities including Hunan Provincial Electric Power Company. On September 5, 1996, the company's shares were listed for trading on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. In September 2003, according to the power system reform plan, Hunan Electric Power Company transferred 33.34% of its equity in the company to China Datang Group Corporation (hereinafter referred to as China Datang), and the controlling shareholder of the company was changed to China Datang. On July 10, 2006, it was renamed Datang Huayin Power Co., Ltd. In 2015, Huayin Power issued non-public shares to acquire all operational assets of Datang Leiyang Power Plant, 100% equity of Datang Xiangtan Power Generation Co., Ltd., and 35% equity of Datang Huayin Zhangjiajie Hydropower Co., Ltd. The shareholding of Huayin Power by China Datang increased to 953 million shares, accounting for 53.53% of the total share capital of Huayin Company. Since 2012, Huayin Electric Power has continuously maintained the honor of "Hunan Civilized Industry". In 2016, it was awarded the "National May Day Labor Award" and in 2021, it was awarded the "Hunan Civilized Model Unit" for the first time. The company has been awarded the title of "Civilized Unit of China Datang Group Co., Ltd." multiple times, and in 2018 and 2019, it was awarded an A level in the comprehensive evaluation of the group company for two consecutive years. |
