| General Introduction | China Mobile Limited was registered in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China ("Hong Kong") on September 3, 1997, and was listed on the New York Stock Exchange Limited Liability Company ("New York Exchange") and the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited ("Hong Kong Stock Exchange") on October 22 and 23, 1997, respectively. The company's stock became a component of the Hong Kong Hang Seng Index on January 27, 1998. On May 7, 2021, the New York Stock Exchange submitted Form 25 to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") to revoke the listing and registration of our ADSs. On May 18, 2021, the delisting of our American depositary shares took effect on the New York Stock Exchange. On January 5, 2022, our RMB ordinary shares ("A-shares") were listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange ("Shanghai Stock Exchange"). The company has wholly-owned subsidiaries in 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) and Hong Kong within China to provide communication and information services, and also provides international roaming and information services to over 200 countries and regions worldwide. The actual controller of the company is China Mobile Communications Group Co., Ltd. ("China Mobile Group Company"). As of June 30, 2023, the company directly and indirectly holds approximately 69.79% of the total issued shares of the company, with the remaining approximately 30.21% held by other shareholders. After more than 20 years of development, China Mobile has become the largest communication and information service provider in the world with the largest network size, the largest number of customers, leading brand value, and ranking among the top in market value. The company's main business covers connection services such as mobile voice, SMS, wireless internet, wired broadband, as well as computing power services such as data centers, cloud computing, content distribution networks, and network integration, as well as platforms, applications, and solutions based on new generation information technology capabilities such as artificial intelligence, big data, the Internet of Things, and security. As of June 30, 2023, the total number of mobile customers reached 985 million, and the total number of wired broadband customers reached 286 million. In the first half of 2023, the operating revenue reached RMB 530.7 billion.
