| General Introduction | Changchai Co., Ltd. is a national industrial enterprise with a history of over 100 years. It is one of the earliest professional manufacturers of internal combustion engines in China and the first listed company in the national agricultural machinery industry and Changzhou City. Currently, it owns both A and B shares and has an annual production capacity of 800000 diesel engines, over 50000 tons of castings, and 200000 gasoline engines. Changchai has produced over 30 million diesel engines and has exported them to 78 countries and regions. Changchai mainly produces small and medium-sized diesel engines with a power range of 1.62-117.6 kilowatts, with over 1000 varieties. The products are widely used in fields such as pickup trucks, light trucks, low-speed trucks, tractors, harvesters, horticultural machinery, plant protection machinery, high-speed rice transplanters, generator sets, engineering machinery, cold chain, and ships. Changchai has a national level enterprise technology center and postdoctoral research workstation, as well as a Jiangsu Province Small and Medium Power Internal Combustion Engine Engineering Technology Research Center. It adopts three advanced technology routes recognized by the Ministry of Environmental Protection, namely high-pressure common rail, electronically controlled single pump, and electronically controlled VE pump. It has successfully launched non road national III and IV electronically controlled diesel engines and vehicle national V diesel engines in the industry, forming multiple series and varieties of models. The application of new technologies has made Changchai products more reliable and economical, and can fully meet the requirements of supporting fields such as vehicle transportation, harvesters, wheel trailers, loaders, and plant protection machinery. At the same time, Changchai has multiple multi cylinder engines in the field of non road machinery that have passed the US EPA and EU EC emission certification, and have obtained a green pass to enter the European and American markets, possessing competitiveness in the international market. So far, Changchai has nearly 40 provincial and municipal high-tech products, and has obtained 145 domestic and foreign authorized patents, including 14 invention patents. The "Changchai" brand diesel engine is a well-known Chinese product. The enterprise has passed ISO9001 quality system certification, ISO14001 environmental management system certification, and IATF16949 automotive product quality management system certification, and has obtained the qualification of a national export commodity exemption enterprise. Changchai brand has been listed on the "China's 500 Most Valuable Brands" list for many consecutive years. In 2020, the brand value was 9.767 billion yuan. Changchai has advanced domestic internal combustion engine manufacturing equipment and technology, and has successively introduced advanced casting, processing, assembly, and internal combustion engine testing equipment from countries such as the United States, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Austria, etc. The application of advanced modern and intelligent equipment not only improves the manufacturing level of Changchai equipment, but also effectively leads and promotes the technological development of the agricultural machinery industry. Changchai has established a nationwide sales and service network in China, with 5 sales business units, 27 sales service centers, and 799 service stations.
