General Introduction Beibu Gulf Port Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Beigang Co., Ltd.") is a listed company controlled by a large state-owned enterprise, Guangxi Beibu Gulf International Port Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Beibu Gulf Port Group"). Beigang Co., Ltd., formerly known as Beihai Port Co., Ltd. and Beihai Xinli Industrial Co., Ltd., was established in 1989 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 1995, becoming one of the earliest listed companies in Guangxi. Under the strategic deployment of the autonomous region and the Beibu Gulf Port Group, in 2013, the main terminals of Fangcheng Port and Qinzhou Port took advantage of Beihai Port to achieve the overall listing of Qinbei Fangsan Port, and later renamed Beibu Gulf Port Co., Ltd., becoming the only operator of state-owned public terminals in the Beibu Gulf region of Guangxi. Beigang Co., Ltd.'s main business includes cargo loading and unloading, port warehousing, port tugs, foreign cargo tallying, and non vessel transportation. On July 18, 2013, Premier Li Keqiang visited the Qinzhou Port Area of the Beibu Gulf Port and proposed to build a "large port with tens of millions of standard containers" and a new strategic fulcrum for central and southern China and Southwest China. In February 2021, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the "National Comprehensive Three-dimensional Transportation Network Planning Outline", which clearly listed the Beibu Gulf Port as an international hub seaport, bringing new opportunities and depicting a new blueprint for the development of the Beibu Gulf Port. In recent years, under the correct leadership of the autonomous region and Beibu Gulf Port Group, Beigang has strengthened its operation and management, deepened reform and innovation, took "four first-class" as the standard, "smart, green and safe" port construction as the main line, and "best service, highest efficiency and best charges" as the goal, promoted the transformation and upgrading of ports, seized the opportunities of the "the Belt and Road" and the construction of new land and sea channels in the west, actively served and integrated into the new development pattern of "double circulation", Accelerate the construction of an international gateway port in the Beibu Gulf. As of the end of 2021, there were a total of 64 container routes in the Beibu Gulf Port, including 37 for foreign trade and 27 for domestic trade, basically achieving full coverage of ASEAN countries and major coastal ports across the country. The Beibu Gulf Port has formed a coordinated development pattern of one port and three regions, clarifying the differentiated division of labor in the port and promoting resource concentration. Among them, Qinzhou Port Area focuses on building an international container trunk port, Fangcheng Port Area builds a bulk cargo distribution hub, Beihai Port Tieshan Port Area focuses on serving port enterprises, and enterprises in the southeastern Guangxi region. Promote the sharing, capacity connection, and functional combination of three port area liners through the use of sea shuttle buses. Production and operation have maintained a high-speed growth momentum, with the cargo throughput of the Beibu Gulf Port (this port) increasing from 128 million tons in 2015 to 269 million tons in 2021, with an average annual growth rate of 13%. Among them, containers have increased from 1.41 million TEUs in 2015 to 6.01 million TEUs in 2021, with an average annual growth rate of 27%, far higher than the average growth level of coastal ports in China. Beigang Co., Ltd. has been ranked among the top 17 listed port enterprises in China for consecutive years in terms of operating profit margin and return on equity. It has been awarded the Comprehensive Top 100 Award of Chinese Listed Companies, the "Advanced Enterprise in the National Logistics Industry Anti epidemic", and selected as a "Sample Stock of the CSI 500 Index". It has become one of the five comprehensive reform units selected by the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council for the "Double Hundred Enterprises" in Guangxi.
