| General Introduction | Anhui Wantong Expressway Co., Ltd. (the "Company") was registered and established in Anhui Province, People's Republic of China on August 15, 1996. It is the first highway company in China to be listed in Hong Kong and the only highway listed company in Anhui Province. On November 13, 1996, the 49301 million H-shares issued by the company were listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. On January 7, 2003, the 250 million A-shares issued by the Japanese company were listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. As of June 30, 2022, the total share capital of the company is 1658610000 shares, with a face value of RMB 1 per share. Our company's main business is investment, construction, operation, and management of some toll roads within Anhui Province. Our company obtains operational highway assets through various means such as investment, construction, acquisition, or cooperative operation, providing traffic services for passing vehicles, collecting vehicle tolls according to charging standards, and maintaining and maintaining the safety of operating highways. Toll roads are transportation infrastructure with a long cycle and large scale, characterized by capital intensive nature, long investment payback period, and relatively stable returns. Our company owns the He'ning Expressway (G40 Shanghai Shaanxi Expressway He'ning Section), the Tianchang Section New Line of National Highway 205, the Gaojie Expressway (G50 Shanghai Chongqing Expressway Gaojie Section), the Xuanguang Expressway (G50 Shanghai Chongqing Expressway Xuanguang Section), the Guangci Expressway (G50 Shanghai Chongqing Expressway Guangci Section), the Tianchang Section of the Ninghuai Expressway, the Anhui Section of the Lianhuo Expressway (G30 Lianhuo Expressway Anhui Section), and the Ningxuanhang Expressway All or part of the toll roads located within Anhui Province, such as the Anhui section of the Yuewu Expressway and the Anqing Yangtze River Bridge. As of June 2022, our company has a total operating highway mileage of 609 kilometers and a total asset of approximately RMB 21148687. In addition, due to the network operation characteristics of highways, our company also provides entrusted management services for some sections of Anhui Traffic Control Group and its subsidiaries (including toll management, maintenance management, information and electromechanical technology management, road production safety management, etc.), with a total mileage of approximately 4163 kilometers. In addition, our company is actively exploring and experimenting with advertising business, quasi financial business, and fund investment business along highways to further expand profit margins and achieve sustainable development of the company. |
